My name is Jacob Romero
My name is Jacob Romero. Being a Spanish teacher has given me the wonderful opportunity of traveling the world and meeting amazing people. For over 18 years, I have worked teaching the language in various international schools and companies in Mexico and other countries. In each class my goal is, not only for the student to learn the language, but also for the student to learn the Latin American culture through our customs and trditions. I am very passionate about my job and I enjoy each every day
Courses
The Spanish course is open to every level: from beginners, who speak no Spanish at all, to the most advanced level, in order to work in managing positions or study a master’s degree in a Spanish-speaking country.

For anyone wanting to learn or improve their conversational Spanish, meeting one-on-one with a tutor is such a game changer. Our classes were 100% in Spanish — sometimes we focused strictly on grammar or vocabulary, other classes we'd talk about current events in Mexico, hobbies, etc. (I'd end up with a list of new vocab or grammar pointers at the end of even our most casual sessions.) He also helped me plan my trip to Mexico City and Oaxaca, and I was shocked by how naturally I could communicate once I was there.
